infernopanda1349 I tell ya this Canadian black metal kick I been having has been a good one for the last couple of years. This album is just outstanding. Great energy, amazing riffs and melody. The sonic attack on this album is much in the likes of bands i enjoy like Marduk mixes with Kreator. I cannot get enough of this band and this album. One of the best buys I had in recent years. Favorite track: Bloodmarks & Pee.

I love it when a band I thought dead and buried for a long time resurface from the ashes and claims glory with a victorious comeback, which is IMHO almost better than anything else they've released before! Such is the case of Mörk Gryning, in hiatus for so long but then enthralling us with amazing Swedish BM reminiscent of Necrophobic. 8 solid tracks and 4 crafty interludes proving the musicians' satisfactionism. Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass). Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended. Rabbit
